This is my philosophy when it comes to directing film work. With 10 years experience in camera, lighting, editing and production departments, the knowledge and skills learned have helped me become a very effective director. I love to work with HODs that care for their craft and engage them on the details to help realise the vision of the project.

I’m early in my directorial career but have had the privilege to work with some amazing crew and talent on a wide range of projects. I enjoy the challenge of limitations for a project, whether that’s time, access or particular technical details that are needed for the piece. True art is realised by working with constraints.

Ōtautahi Christchurch is my home, but my work has let me travel New Zealand and the world.
